Global Partner Marketing

Sherri Liebo is the Vice President of Cisco Global Partner Marketing, leading Cisco’s global partner marketing strategy. Sherri and her team drive engagement with marketing leaders in Cisco’s Partner organizations and collaborate with internal Cisco organizations to accelerate demand for Cisco technologies and services through Partners. This global partner community represents more than eighty percent of Cisco revenue.

Before taking on her current role, Sherri was the Vice President of Marketing for Cisco Services, a $10B global business constituting 22 percent of Cisco’s overall revenue. In her Services leadership role, she was responsible for Services overall marketing, including portfolio marketing and management, marketing strategy, and services. A key member of the strategy-setting Cisco Services Portfolio Forum, Liebo played an integral role in bringing to market a world-class portfolio of services with faster time-to-revenue and high levels of customer satisfaction.  

Prior to that, Liebo was Vice President of Services Segment Marketing, driving the segment and architecture marketing strategy for Services to ensure that strategy supports the needs and demands of the global customer and partner base.

In 2006, Sherri drove the creation and launch of an innovative Smart Service known as “Smart Care,” which allowed partners to create a services practice around Cisco solutions in the small and medium business market, significantly increasing partner profitability and customer satisfaction. Smart Services is now recognized by industry analysts as critical to the future strategy of Cisco’s business.  She has held several leadership roles in Cisco related to accelerating Cisco’s products and services through the partner route to market.

Previous to leading the Services Segment Marketing team, Liebo was senior director of field marketing and sales development for Cisco Services in the U.S. and Canada region. She led a field marketing team with responsibilities for- oversight of customer and partner marketing programs and the Cisco Services Board of Advisors. In this capacity, she drove an incremental $40M commercial business through partner programs to drive new and renewal business for Cisco.

Liebo joined Cisco from Hewlett Packard in 2005. Her 20+ years of experience encompass strategic planning, alliance development, worldwide service development and launch, channel management, and regional go-to-market execution.   

Liebo holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.  She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
